!UPDATES!
WOW! I can't believe it has been almost 10 years since we moved to Florida!
I started collecting seashells from the beginning and haven't stopped yet! lol!
I do love shelling! Did I tell you I do LOVE SHELLING! LOL! Yes I do!
After the first 5 years my hubby said to me, "You need to do something with all these seashells!"
That's when my business began.
I love it all!
From collecting all the different types of beautiful seashells on the many different gorgeous beaches of Florida's West Coast;
to talking to other young and old shellers and sharing different ideas, how to do's,
to what they've discovers on the beach that day;
to bringing my beautiful treasures home and cleaning, drying & sorting them; to going to other flea markets, thrift stores and craft store for supplies I'll need to make each project perfect!;
to dreaming of all the wonder ideas that pop up in my head of how to use my shells in each and every design;
to the setting up our booth at the Wagon Wheel Flea Market on Park Blvd, Pinellas Park, Florida;
to talking to people of all walks of life from around the world;
to seeing the delight in our costumers eyes as they decide what seashell treasures they will take home
and make their home a fun beachy home or give them as gifts to family and friends.
What more could I ask for...
Having my handsome hubby by my side through it all,
learning to shell with me and being the strong muscle I need to pack the car with the crates for the flea market to unload
and setting up our booth; to helping costumers;
to breaking it all down and loading the car up and going home after a day at the flea market, to bringing him out to dinner for a job well done! Got to love this man!
AND NOW HAVING TO FIND THE BEST WAY TO SELL MY SEASHELL CRAFTS NOW THAT THE WAGON WHEEL FLEAMARKET HAS CLOSED FOR GOOD DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS .
WE WILL MISS ALL THE FUN WE HAD, VENDERS WE MADE FRIENDS WITH AND OF COURSE OUR VALUED COSTUMERS.
